My name is Tomesha. I currently teach high school science at a small private school located in Georgia. I am excited to participate in this course. 2. Hello to all and welcome. I am delighted to be working with you three: one a high school teacher from a small, private school in Georgia, another an Assistant Principal in an elementary school in Chicago's large pubic school system, and a teacher of so called adult "unemployables", in a non-for-profit culinary training organization with a high achievement record in San Deigo. WoW. Marvelous group. Again, Welcome. Dr. Mac

  3. Hello, all! My name is Lindsey Seegers. I am the Director of Curriculum and Instruction at Kitchens for Good. We are a state-certified Apprenticeship Program and workforce training program. We operate three apprenticeships: Culinary, Baking, and Foodservice Management for adults with high barriers to employment. I look forward to learning more about how to stretch 4MAT into the entire 7.5 hour day of learning, support my Instructors in understanding and adhering to this approach in their teaching, and also receiving feedback on my in-progress curriculum that features 4MAT. Look forward to connecting with you all! -Lindsey

  4. Hello all,
My name is Hanan Matari, I am an assistant principal at Azuela ES Chicago, IL. I have been an educator for more than 28 years. I speak Arabic and love to learn languages. Currently, I am learning Spanish and enjoying learning about the culture. I constantly reflect on  "teaching for learning, and learning from teaching". My interest to meet the needs of the adult learners motivates me to learn about different theories, strategies and techniques to build the adult learner capacity. I am looking forward to using the 4MAT cycle to enhance my learning and the adult learners I work with to improve students' achievement.
