1. Select one film that you have seen.
2. Write a short summary.
3. Create or (find online) an advertisement or image for this movie.
4. Complete this sentence for your movie:

5. Post your Summary, Image and Sentence on the course blog
before the 4th session.

Movie Summary -Divergent
ReplyDeleteThe character Tris, 16 years old, lives in a revolutionary world, a dysphonia community, where the society is divided into five factions/groups. As the person turns 16,which is the age of adulthood in that society, they have to choose their own group, obey its rules, and commit to it for the rest of their life. Tris has to take an aptitude test. Her result shows that her thinking is different and she is not easy to be deceived. Tris chooses the Dauntless faction, those who pursue bravery above all else. However, her instigation leads her to find out that she is divergent and will never belong to only one faction or group. As in that society divergent interrupt and threaten the system, she was advised to never reveal her status and keep it a secret. Tris also discovered that there will be a forthcoming war that threatens the lives of all the one she loves.
